Soothing
Mugwort
also known as Artemisia
An old Korean medicinal herb now baked into ampoules — deeply calming for stressed, sensitive skin.
What it actually does
Mugwort (artemisia) extract is rich in tannins, vitamins, and anti-inflammatory compounds. Used in Korean traditional medicine for centuries, it's now showing up in ampoules and mists aimed at sensitive, easily-flushed skin. Some studies suggest it also has a mild antibacterial effect that's useful for blemish-prone types.
Who it's for
Sensitive, reactive, or stressed skin. Sometimes a better tolerated alternative to centella for people whose skin doesn't love cica.
How to use it
As a toner or ampoule, used morning and evening. Particularly nice as a sheet mask when you've over-done actives.
