The Plug Verified mark means a brand has cleared our independent checks. It is not a paid badge, a marketing package, or a quid-pro-quo for coverage. It can be suspended or revoked if a brand's standing changes.
What we verify.
Authentic sourcing
We record how each seller says it sources the brand's products, and the date we read it. We don't hold the brand's list of approved sellers, so we don't label any seller for them.
Independently vetted
Our team checks seller records, brand registration, and real-world availability in the US. We don't rely on brand-supplied claims alone.
Brand-engaged
The brand knows we're covering them and can answer product, sourcing, or authenticity questions. Transparency goes both ways.
Re-checked
Verification is not one-and-done. We revisit verified brands on a rolling basis and remove the mark if a seller situation changes.

Can a brand pay to become Plug Verified?
No. Verification is independent of advertising, sponsorship, or affiliate relationships. A brand may appear in a separate labeled Sponsored spotlight, but that never influences whether it earns or keeps the Plug Verified mark.
How is Plug Verified different from a regular price comparison?
Price comparison pages rank the sellers we track by value. Plug Verified goes further: we check the seller's own authenticity policy and sourcing statements, record what we found and when, and revisit it regularly. We don't hold any brand's list of approved sellers — that judgment is the brand's.
How often is Plug Verified re-checked?
We review verified brands on a rolling basis. If a verified brand's seller situation changes, the seal is suspended or removed until the issue is resolved.
